God's Promises Never Fail

For believers, God’s promises stand as a beacon of assurance in every season of life. From the beginning of Scripture to its end, the Bible resounds with the unwavering truth that God’s promises never fail. Let’s explore this foundational truth and its implications for our faith journey.


God's Faithfulness in Scripture:

Throughout the Bible, God reveals Himself as a faithful promise keeper:

- Genesis 15:5-6: God promises Abram descendants as numerous as the stars, and despite human doubt, fulfills His promise, renaming him Abraham.

- Joshua 21:45: Joshua recalls how God fulfilled every promise made to Israel, not one word failing.

- Psalm 145:13: The Psalmist declares, "Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does."

- 2 Corinthians 1:20: Paul reassures believers that all of God's promises find their "Yes" in Christ, affirming their reliability and truth.

- Hebrews 10:23: The writer encourages perseverance in faith, "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful."



Implications for Our Lives:

Understanding that God's promises are trustworthy transforms our perspective:

- Steadfast Hope: We can anchor our hope in God's promises, regardless of circumstances or challenges we face.

- Confident Prayer: Praying in alignment with God's promises strengthens our faith, knowing He hears and responds.

GOD IS ABLE

Is God able to do all things? YES! My God is Able to do all things. "God is able" emphasizes God's limitless power and ability to accomplish what seems impossible.  The apostle Paul, in his letter to the Ephesians, declares that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. His power knows no bounds, and He works within us to accomplish His purposes. Refer Ephesians 3:20 for it. Moses personally experienced God's Ability. When faced with the Red Sea, seemingly trapped between the water and the Egyptian army, God miraculously parted the sea, allowing the Israelites to cross safely ( Exodus 14:21-22 ). Moses saw that God was indeed able. We should be totally dependent on GOD . On our own, we can achieve very little ( John 15:5 ). The Fruit of the Spirit

The Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self- control (Galatians 5:22-23). Against such things there is no law. In Galatians 5:22, the phrase “fruit of the Spirit” refers to the Holy Spirit. The Apostle Paul states the following nine gifts that result for true repentance, turning away from our sinful towards love for God. 1. Love : "A new command I give you: Love one another.
